India's Traveling Sisters

This article is about two sisters who formed their love of travel and adventure into a lifetime career. Prachi and Himadri Garg started their love of travel at a young age. Their first trip together was by bus to Shimla in northern India. The sisters then begin traveling every weekend, not getting enough of the beautiful, endless land that India has to offer. The mountain scenery completely change their lives and their perspectives on the world. Now they organize women only trips, including corporate events. Deli is their home, but traveling never ends. They have two overall goals in their line of work. The first goal is to show the world what India has to offer. Within Indian borders are diverse areas and unique experiences. The sisters can spend one weekend in forested mountains, then easily travel to the coast for the next. Their second and most critical goal is to encourage women to not be afraid to travel alone. They insist that solo travel is an irreplaceable experience in the lives of a woman, who are constantly told to travel safely only with men.Through the entire journey they courage female companionship, even going as far as to make sure that their tour drivers and guides are women. The Garg sisters are flawlessly promoting female power and I’m loving it!
